Scot Shaw

Hi! My name is Abby Shaw, and as you might have guessed, I'm following in my father's footsteps by joining him in the insurance business. I'm proud to be part of Scot Shaw State Farm, where I've been working since December 2022. What I love most about my role here is the opportunity to connect with our customers and build meaningful relationships. Outside of work, I'm passionate about fitness and Jesus. I prefer my mornings with iced coffee and being outside walking my dog. In my role at the agency, I wear many hats. I assist customers with their insurance inquiries, handle billing matters, and direct our marketing efforts. Being involved in different aspects of the business allows me to truly understand our customers' needs and provide them with amazing service. I'm passionate about what I do and look forward to continuing to learn and grow in this dynamic industry. I’m Forrest – I was born in Texas and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC. Yes, I grew up where you vacationed. I have been in insurance for just under two years now. I’ve enjoyed the change from selling cars. Much is the same though. I love helping my customers and going through the process of making sure their needs are handled. I enjoy working with my customers and making friendships along the way. Here at the office, my role is to get you properly insured and handle explaining policies and coverages to our customers. Outside of work, you can find me on the golf course, playing outside with my son and our dogs, firing up the grill, and just enjoying life. Don’t hold it against me, but I am also a diehard, fightin' Texas Aggie fan. Gig Em! I have been married to my wife Erin for 13 years and we share our 4 year old son Knox who we adopted in 2019.
